Dr Brandon Rasman
Postdoctoral Fellow
Brandon is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour, Radboud University. His research focuses on sensorimotor control, sensorimotor learning, and self-motion perception across various movement behaviours in both healthy and clinical populations. Much of his work employs human-in-the-loop simulators to manipulate the dynamics of the sensorimotor control loop, thereby driving adaptation and recalibration of motor control and perception. This includes the use of robotic balance simulators (for standing balance control) and steering simulators (for steering and navigation control). He also uses sensory stimulation techniques—such as galvanic vestibular stimulation and visual field perturbations—to probe the sensorimotor control loop.
