Chantelle is an Innovation Manager in WhitespaceTM,lululemon’s in-house innovation and R&D team. Comprising inventors, engineers and scientists, Whitespace™ is committed to building lululemon’s future guest experience through the discovery and application of industry-shifting initiatives. Recognizing the effect of sensation on performance, Whitespace pioneered the “science of feel" - its primary lens for imagining products.
Chantelle joined Whitespace in 2015 with 10+ years of research and teaching expertise in Neuromechanics and focuses on taking a human first approach to innovation in product. She uses her understanding of how the human body senses and perceives the world around it, and how this impacts our movement, to understand how we can impact the experience our guests have in, and with, our clothing.
Chantelle is from Prince Edward Island, Canada, has two children, loves any kind of physical activity, and enjoys hiking and exploring Vancouver as much as possible with her family.
