Lisa’s primary research interest encompasses sensorimotor control and neuromuscular fatigability under acute and chronic conditions in females and males across age groups. Lisa’s dissertation is on the influence of maximal effort repetitive concentric elbow extensions on cortical and spinal excitability in females and males. She aims to examine fatigue-induced mechanisms on potential sex-related differences and eventually hopes to extend her research across age groups.
