Yixin (Izzy) Zhang is a PhD STUDENT in BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING. Izzy completed her BSc in Statistics at Texas A&M University and MSc in Statistics at UBC. Her thesis work focuses on probing the human brain in silico and in vivo to identify balance-related biomarkers for motor learning ability and to tackle learning deficits with tailored interventions.
At the Balance and Falls Research Centre, we work to improve mobility, safety, and quality of life through research and innovation. Donations enable us to remain independent, continue long-term studies, and explore new ideas that prevent falls and enhance mobility.
