Justin works as a student assistant at the Human Performance Research Center at the University of Konstanz, where he is involved in research projects of Lorenz Assländer's group that validate head-mounted devices for their usage in influencing postural control. Additionally, he is interested in plyometric training and its usage as a holistic training approach, which is currently being assessed within the ProPELL project (https://www.propell.uni-konstanz.de/).
Justin studied movement science and economics at the University of Regensburg and applied his interests as a research assistant at the FIFA Medical Centre Regensburg, as an intern at the German Olympic Academy in Frankfurt, and as a youth academy coach at the SSV Jahn Regensburg e.V.. Currently, Justin is a visiting research intern at Mark Carpenter's group at the Neural Control of Posture and Movement Lab at the University of British Columbia.
