Trainee Workshop - Navigating the RISe Ethics Application

On February 18th the OBDAF Cluster Workshop Coordinators welcomed Pia Ganz to host a workshop on "Navigating the RISe Ethics Application." Pia is a manager with the Clinical Research Ethics Board at UBC, and gave a solid overview of the application process for clinical research projects. Pia went over each section of the application in detail and answered more specific questions from the attendees pertaining to their own applications. Thank you Pia for your time hosting the event, and thank you to all the cluster members and trainees that made it to the event, we hope it was a useful training opportunity that will inform your future work!

Navigating the RISe Ethics Application

Pia Ganz (CREB Manager) will be hosting a session focused on “Navigating the RISe Application” for OBDAF Trainees. This will be a hands-on virtual workshop on preparing an ethics application. Each page of RISe will be reviewed and there will be plenty of time during and after the workshop to ask questions about the application process. The focus will be on Clinical applications, but all are encouraged to attend.
