Trainee Workshop - ISPGR Practice Presentation Session

OBDAF is heading to ISPGR!

Students from across labs within the OBDAF Cluster are heading to the International Society for Posture and Gait Research (ISPGR) World Congress! The Congress is taking place in Montreal, QB, from July 3-7, and will give OBDAF students and researchers an opportunity to share their important balance and falls research and connect with other researchers.

On June 23rd, several students from across OBDAF-affiliated labs at UBC Vancouver got together for a workshop to practice their ISPGR poster presentations. Work from students at this practice session showcased recent results on torque feedback models, sex- and gender-based analyses, upper limb control, IMUs, and standing balance robots! These presentations speak to the breadth of research happening in the Cluster.

We are wishing the trainees well on their trip!
