Cluster member Dr. Mark Carpenter presented to industry experts during WorkSafeBc’s Human Factors Community Practice workshop on the topic of “Using virtual reality to study the effects of high-risk environments on human balance and movement”.  He described how he and other researchers are currently using virtual reality to conduct their studies and the impact and implications of their findings.  Furthermore, he discussed on virtual reality’s practical applications to the workplace.
