Please mark your calendars on October 24th for the Cluster Trainee Meeting with Dr.Adrian Lai visiting from SFU where he will be talking about his research over the past few years in Musculoskeletal modeling, In-vivo muscle function, and Motor recruitment strategies. 

Dr. Adrian Lai is a biomechanist who is fascinated by how and why living things move the way they do. His particular research involves the use of musculoskeletal modelling and in-vivo measurement techniques to understand how muscles and tendons interact to satisfy the mechanical and energetic demands of locomotion. Dr.Lai completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Melbourne in 2015. His current research focuses on investigating the influence of motor recruitment strategies on muscle force predictions in muscle models.
