WorkSafe BC: Ergonomics Forum

The OBDAF research cluster participated in WorkSafeBC’s fourth Annual Ergonomics Forum on October 10th.

The theme this year was “Prevention through Design”, where the importance and benefits of considering worker health and safety design before a task or project was discussed. The event will included presentations, an interactive trade show and opportunities to meet with ergonomic experts! 

We had a great time interacting with various companies regarding work safety and meeting representatives from various organizations. It was a valuable experience being able to promote our research and educate others about the importance of this subject through interactive demonstrations of using virtual reality and Swaystar.
