UBC & UBCO Trainee Meeting

Thanks to everyone that came out to the UBC Vancouver campus for our first-ever UBC/UBCO Trainee Meeting.

The OBDAF Cluster coordinators and the Trainee workshop coordinators hosted a trainee meeting on Friday Dec 9th. The meeting brought together Cluster trainees and faculty members from UBC and UBCO. Nine different labs were represented at the meeting, including Drs. JS Blouin, Mark Carpenter, Brian Dalton, Tim Inglis, Jen Jakobi, Calvin Kuo, Tania Lam, Chris McNeil, and Lyndia Wu.

The event featured tours of different UBC labs and equipment, followed by an exciting trainee-led meeting presenting current work. 22 trainees from across the Cluster presented their ongoing balance and falls research, and discussed future directions for the Cluster.
