Congratulations to cluster member Yvette Reid, an Audiologist at St. Paul’s Hospital, for receiving a Providence Health Care Practice-Based Research Challenge Award in the amount of $5,000 for her research project entitled: “Postural stability in superior canal dehiscence syndrome”.
The Practice-Based Research Challenge Reward was created to support point-of-care-staff to gain research experience. This challenge assists them to learn about research and design their own clinical practice project, helps provide necessary information and mentorship, and lastly helps the staff to solve important questions in their workplace.
This project involves OBDAF Research Cluster Members: Drs. Jane Lea, Brian Westerberg, and Mark Carpenter as co-investigators.
